A Little Moto of Mine.

I probably haven't watched that film you're on about,
or heard that music you're listening to.

But it doesn't bother me.

Random thoughts whilst on holiday.

Friday 28th August '09
  • You never know when paper will come in handy.
  • I love travelling.
  • Coldplay = Perfect travelling music. Nothing could ever beat it :)
  • You can never interrupt music whilst travelling. Every song is just perfect. You think about stuff. Travelling on the bus to Heathrow was brilliant. Just listening to Ryan Adams - "Wonderwall" pretty much the whole way up in the dark :)
  • I also love it when we venture into little towns we've never been to before.

Bristol

  • Risk Gymnasium - where every exercise could be your last.
  • Looking for Banksy is fun.
  • Someones lost a cat...I can see posters.
  • There's fantastic graffiti here...
  • "OMG! My Chunky just got funky ;]" WTF!??!?!?!

Other stuffs

  • Hot Chip is also perfect daytime travelling music.
  • DHL fuel lorry spotted - 12:21pm
  • Gregory Distribution Lorry!
  • Lois stopped herself from crying by picking her nose...I'll remember that one.
  • Just passed a sign saying "Check Point"
  • Modest Mouse is also good travelling music.
  • Apparently we're in Pennsylvania.....
  • Gregory Distribution lorry spotted...
  • NIMLET.
  • My hair goes curly when I let it dry naturally...hmmm...neis iawn.

Sunday 30th August '09

  • I'm watching Deal or No Deal....WHY?! It's just a fat woman running around, screaming at people opening boxes...

Dust

There are many different types of dust.
There's good dust that makes things like cakes and the Maldives, and then there's not so good dust that forms sleet and car parks.
All fo this dust apparently came from the Big Bang, which means we're all made of the same dust - you, me, cake and car parks.
Next time your red socks turn your white undies pink, remember your made from space dust as old as the Universe itself.
Plus, you look cute in pink.

I got bored...

...so I drew this guy.

Hey Ho Chemistry, Let's GO!!

Instead of revising properly today, I drew that.
A man with sideburns, wearing a beret, telling me to revise.
I'm scared about the 3 hour chemistry exam tomorrow...

Carbon Monoxide (CO)

It's colourless,
It's odourless,
a gas,
and it's poisonous

Would that count as a Haiku?

Anyway, it's biology revision.

Perry the Platapus

This is Perry the Platapus.
He's blue.
He is also a semi-aquatic, egg-laying mammal of ACTION.
But, unknown to Perry, is the fact that there is another platapus...and her name is Heledd.
That's right!
I am a platapus.
Pero, Bwdj and I discovered this whilst in Swansea during the summer of '08.
How wonderful it is to finally discover my true calling in life, laying eggs and saving the world from evil whilst in agent mode.
I feel so useful.
More references to Perry to come.
(this blog entry was dedicated to Pero.)

Sigur Ros

I feel the need to voice my love for Sigur Ros.

This band from Iceland are truly beautiful. Their music is gorgeous in every way.

As I once told a website "Sigur Ros are the soundtrack to my dreams."

It's true.

I've fallen completely and utterly in love with them.

If you've never heard of them, I beg you to just go and give them a listen.

You won't be disappointed.

Hoppipolla. <3

Uptade my MATHS

Had my C2 maths exam today, containing CAST, Trapezium rule, Logs, Circle, Radians, Integration, AP's and GP's.
I am most pleased.
I said I felt like I had more confidence with this exam. It went really well.
So incredibly happy. So much so that I think I annoyed Daf a little bit when I met up with him after the exam.

So only one maths exam left :)
Only 2 biol, and 2 chemistry aswell.

BRING IT.

The best thing about revising maths, is that I listen to music on my phone the same time.
Ive completely and utterly fallen back in love with BECK and HOT CHIP!!!!
If you've never heard of these people before, then go check them out, please.
Also heard Lambchop for the first time in aaaaaaaages. They are so beautiful <3

Oh...I think I failed my C1 exam yesterday aswell. It was really hard...

Exams

As my sisters play on the Wii, I realise I havn't got long before my AS level Exams.
I'm dreading them!
Why did I ever take up Biology, Chemistry, Maths and French?!
They we're great subjects to study when I started year 12! But now, oh heck, I'd rather not have any exams at all.
I've been revising, and it's driving me slowly insane.
I even went and tried revising Chemistry with my friend, who studies chemistry in welsh!
I have french oral exam before long, mais je ne parle pas le francais! (I don't even know if that made ANY sense!)
Good luck to anyone with exams =]

A New Year has arrived...

...and so I try and make new years resolutions that I'll actually stick to.

My main new years resolution this year is to THINK HAPPY THOUGHTS. That is, to try and always look on the positive side of any situation. I seem to be doing well so far.

I can see this year being quite challenging.

Christmas has seen me questioning a lot of things, and shown me my friends true colours. It's been a good experience. I've felt quite down during Christmas, with moments of happiness, like when I had a toaster and a kettle!

But this year is going to be more difficult to get through, and the only way I'll make it through is to think of happy thoughts.

ARGH!!

Right, I'm going to get thinking happy thoughts straight away...and I think I'll be needing some chocolate cake...yum...
